What is Klarna?

Klarna is a payment service that allows you to buy now and pay later, dividing the total amount into 3 equal installments, interest-free and without fees, provided you meet the payment deadlines.

Who can use Klarna?

To be eligible to use Klarna, you must:

• be at least 18 years old and reside in Romania;

• make the purchase as an individual (consumer);

• use a valid debit or credit card;

• be approved by Klarna following an internal credit assessment.

How do I pay with Klarna?

At checkout, select the payment method “Pay in 3 installments with Klarna”. You will be redirected to the Klarna page, where you complete the verification process and confirm the purchase. Once approved, a credit agreement is automatically created between you and Klarna, and payment is made in 3 equal installments, at no additional cost if you meet the deadlines.

How are the installments divided when paying with Klarna?

• Installment 1: at the time of placing the order

• Installment 2: automatically after 30 days

• Installment 3: automatically after 60 days

You will receive payment due dates and can also view them in the Klarna app. Make sure you have sufficient funds available on each due date.

Who do I pay?

After dispatch, the merchant assigns the debt to Klarna. You make the payments to Klarna.

What costs does the customer incur?

There is no interest or fees if you pay on time. Late payments may incur penalties, and unpaid amounts will be carried over to the next due date.

Cancellations or returns 

• If you cancel within the legal timeframe/store policy: Klarna cancels the outstanding amount.

• If you return the item: once the merchant confirms the return, Klarna refunds what you paid and cancels the remaining balance.

Authorizations

You authorize Klarna to automatically charge the other two installments on their respective due dates.

Buyer protection policy

Klarna offers full buyer protection for all purchases. You only pay after the order is confirmed or shipped, and if there are problems with delivery or the product, Klarna will help you resolve the situation quickly. Read more here.
